5 green smoothies to make your day

green smoothies are an optimal choice if you’re looking for a healthy and delicious way to get both fruits and veggies into your daily routine.  I actually crave my green smoothie, and I have my recipe below (only 6 ingredients!).  and I share some other green smoothie recipes for you to try too – let me know which ones you like! or share your own green smoothie recipe.

SugarApple green smoothie recipe

1 cup of milk or milk alternative

1 banana

1/2 avocado

1/2 english cucumber

1 scoop of protein powder (I use Jay Robb egg white protein powder)

2-3 handfuls of baby spinach or baby kale (or use both 🙂 )

preferred sweetener (honey, agave, brown rice syrup, etc)

  1. Put all ingredients in your Vitamix or high speed blender in the order above (starting with milk choice)
  2. Blend until all ingredients are fully mixed.
  3. Enjoy and love how your body feels. 😉
