stop. yoga time.

as some of you might remember from my previous yoga post, I shared my on-again off-again relationship with yoga and was hoping to stick to it this time around.  well, I’m happy to report that I have been sticking to a consistent yoga routine and I…feel…great.  the more I did it, the more I wanted to do it again.  so now (what’s different from before) I make  sure to schedule in my “yoga time.”  I’ve definitely seen the benefits, generally feeling more relaxed as well as having more improved flexibility (although definitely not a yoga expert by any means). and I feel it’s a great balance with my running.

if you’re experiencing a “why-should-I-try-yoga” moment, I would encourage you to try it and see how you feel – but give it at least a few weeks.  I use a variety of workouts, but here are a few fun (and free) ones that I found on YouTube.  the minna optimizer and jillian michaels versions are a slightly different play on traditional yoga, but they are worth it.  rodney yee will always be a fav.  what are your favorite yoga workouts?  please share.
